Anecdote: While Benny was competing he noticed his son playing catch with a friend. At one point everything was in slow motion. Instead of one baseball it looked as if there were a thousand streaming into the glove.

Anecdote: Benny promised a young competitor that if if came down to the two of them he would let the young man win because he needed it more. The young man walked away during his break and never came back.

Anecdote: Benny would say that his feet were sore. Then a competitior would say that he was just fine, that he couldn't feel anything. Then Benny would explain that that was a bad thing. That meant that they had gone numb. Netxt thing you know that person is out of the competition.
